Great case, beautiful red color,
I had the silver Case-mate credit card phone cover and loved it, but the finish started flaking off. I bought this red one and love it even more. I used both cases with my iPhone 3GS.
Convenience: It easily fits one credit card and a drivers’ license. I hate carrying a purse just to run to the store, so this is perfect! It comes with a sticker to place on the back of your phone to ensure your cards don’t fall out. The sticker really works, and easily peels off with no residue when you want to remove it. The phone with the case slips easily into a pocket.
Appearance: I was afraid the color wouldn’t look like the picture. I was hoping for a kind of ruby red with a satiny finish – that’s what I got. The color and finish almost remind me of a red rose petal – not too bright with a slight sheen. The picture is pretty dang accurate…it’s a little brighter, but not much. It has a nice, smooth feel with no rubbery smell.
Durability: Don’t be fooled by the flimsy appearance of the case. It’s tougher than it looks. I dropped my phone with the silver case on it a number of times and nothing ever broke. The silver case is still fine after more than a year of use – I just don’t like the flaked off finish.
I often receive comments when I pull out my phone to get my credit card. People are always surprised to see that the credit card doesn’t fall out – even without a drivers’ license behind it. And it’s good looking too! This is far and away my favorite iPhone case.
